Reuben S. Ban Profile

Reuben S. Ban is an Environmental Engineer and Geologist with over seven (7) years of professional experience spanning environmental monitoring, geological assessment, and sustainable project implementation. He holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Debrecen, Hungary, under the prestigious Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship, and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Liberia.

Currently serving as Team Lead at the Resilience Institute for Sustainability and Environment (RISE), he leads the design and implementation of environmental monitoring programs focused on air, water, soil, and noise quality, ensuring compliance with national and international standards. His previous experience includes technical roles with Rayan Laboratory Services, EMG Consulting Group, and Boimah Engineering Inc., where he contributed to environmental impact assessments, site investigations, and compliance monitoring across Liberia.

A strong advocate for participatory environmental governance and evidence-based decision-making, he combines scientific precision with community engagement to drive practical and sustainable solutions. His professional interests center on climate resilience, pollution control, and circular economy strategies that enhance both human and ecosystem well-being.
